Kouhpayeh Villa
Positioned along the forested foothills of Lahijan, Kouhpayeh Villa is a 380-square-meter residence that negotiates steep topography through stepped horizontal volumes and deep overhanging eaves.
The architectural language pairs raw board-formed concrete with warm cedar soffits, creating sheltered semi-open verandas that reinterpret the traditional Caspian 'Talār' for contemporary domestic life.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing along the northern elevation frames uninterrupted views of the surrounding tea gardens while maintaining intimate privacy from the approach road.

Form Evolution & Spatial TheoryGrayscale Office
Grayscale Office (GSO) is an architectural and spatial design studio based in Rasht, northern Iran. Our practice operates at the intersection of contextual memory and contemporary geometric abstraction.
We approach every commission—from compact retail pavilions to civic public halls—as an inquiry into how built space can evoke an intuitive sense of belonging. By synthesizing the climatic nuances of the Caspian littoral with rigorous computational detailing, our architecture creates quiet, poised environments calibrated for contemporary life.
